CREEPER WEED
There's a feeling of anxiety, of dread, that I've felt over the years as I come and go from tour. There's a creeping feeling as the long tour that was months away suddenly approaches, now just days away. It's like a weed creeping up to strangle my current good time with thoughts of long separation. I think a couple coming together and then separating over and over again for years is a good thing, as opposed to a continuous 9-to-5 routine for decades. But there's never a settled, fully relaxed feeling, with all the coming and going.
